ATTIS process control for a high-end semi-automated hybrid printer.

Colognia press, a.s. is a modern label printer operating on the European market. It provides a stable and dignified background for more than 130 specialized employees. The new management has set out a strategy aimed at significantly increasing the efficiency of the company’s processes, which is based on the maximum level of process automation and at the same time on the optimal use of the potential of human resources. The aim of the strategy is to achieve a state where routine tasks are fully automated, the administrative burden in all processes is reduced and people are entrusted with tasks that make full use of their highest qualifications (competences).

What did they come to us with?

The company’s management had a very clear vision. To document, in an interactive form, a very detailed description of the company’s processes (the so-called process twin), to define for each activity the specific competencies required for their correct implementation and to set clear performance indicators by which the activities will be evaluated. A flexible information system was consistently required to support management and to evolve with the changing requirements of the company. It will support continuous process improvement and at the same time form an effective interface between the company’s real processes and the main information system.

Why ATTIS?

The ATTIS information system was chosen from a number of Czech and foreign software tools primarily for its complexity, flexibility and the possibility of adapting to customer requirements. Its advantage in the selection process was its intuitive operation, but above all its ability to model processes and activities in a detailed interactive way, to design competencies for them, including the necessary performance indicators. An equally important attribute was the ability of the ATTIS system to project all information from the process twin into on-line employee job descriptions.

“I searched all over Europe for software that would allow us to manage our processes as we wanted. Finally, I found it in Olomouc – the city where I have lived for years…”
