Working with AI in ATTIS
AI in Organizational Management: Answers from Data, Not from Estimates
Most organizations are already using artificial intelligence. General-purpose AI assistants help write texts, summarize documents, or search through files. But when it comes to management issues, they reach their limits: they respond based on what they find in documents and emails, and they don’t know how things are connected. ATTIS offers a unique foundation: a unified data model on which the AI works directly with interconnected data about processes, roles, documents, risks, and goals. This allows it to ask about connections, not just search for words.
- AI Assistant Connector as Part of the Solution: ATTIS includes a production-ready MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector. It works with both common AI assistants and an organization’s proprietary AI tools and runs on the organization’s infrastructure.
- Under your account and permissions: The AI assistant can see and access only what the logged-in user can. No backdoor access to data.
- Questions in Czech regarding real-time data: “Which directives are due for review within three months, and whose responsible person has changed positions in the meantime?” “Which requirements of the standard do not have a corresponding process?” “Which risk mitigation measures are past their deadline?”
- From full-text search to context: A file repository can find a word. Using a unified data model, you can query the relationships between documents, processes, people, and risks, because they exist within it as a single source of truth.
AI proposes, humans approve
The credibility of the management system rests on the fact that it is always clear who made which decision. That is why AI has a firmly defined role and clear boundaries in ATTIS.
- Entry Only After Confirmation: AI can create a new record, make an edit, or draft a process diagram. However, the change will not be reflected in ATTIS until the user explicitly confirms it, and the approval step remains at the workstation.
- Deterministic core: risk calculations, document approvals, and workflows all run according to fixed rules outside the language model. What’s approved is what counts—no AI hallucinations.
- AI as a managed identity: You can assign a process role with specific permissions to the AI. The audit trail then shows what it did, just as it would for a human. You can mark the activities performed by the AI in the process map and also include the AI Act in the requirements register.
- Data Under Your Control: Both ATTIS and the connector run on your infrastructure. Only the content of specific queries and responses is fed into the language model—not the database. The choice of model and its location is subject to agreement.
- From Policy to Finished Process: The AI reads the company policy, proposes a process model based on it, and, once approved, enters it into ATTIS, including roles, documents, and diagrams. Similarly, the AI assists with documentation reviews, audit preparation, and the design of performance metrics.
- Quick Start: The AI integration is an optional add-on to your existing ATTIS license. Installing the connector takes just a few hours, and you can get started with a pilot project in a single department.
AI in organizational management delivers the greatest value in areas where connections are currently identified manually: before reviews, before audits, and during reorganizations. It is precisely these hours spent on a unified data model that AI reduces most significantly, thereby delivering a return on investment (ROI) for the management system.
